Come serve with joyful hearts alongside Friends of Camp as together we help cleanup Shoshone Mountain Retreat after the windstorm.
You’re Invited to Shoshone Mountain Retreat May 1-3, 2026 to help with much-needed projects around camp and make a meaningful difference in the great outdoors!
Come on your own, with your family, your youth group, or bring a crew of friends. All ages and skill levels are welcome as we serve together and make a lasting impact. A volunteer weekend is needed more than ever after the windstorms earlier this year!
We’re seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help clear fallen trees and branches, refresh cabins after winter, and organize spaces throughout camp. Volunteers with skills in carpentry, painting, or other trades are especially encouraged to share their God-given gifts in service.
What to Expect
Arrive at camp Friday evening to settle in and connect with friends new and old. Serve Shoshone from breakfast ‘till 3 pm Saturday: landscaping, wood chopping, deep cleaning, and all sorts of other simple, significant tasks. Knock off work at 3pm to enjoy fun camp activities: hiking, biking, ball field games, or curl up with a good book and a mug of cocoa and enjoy the view of the mountains from a rocker on the dining hall portico.
Friday and Saturday evenings include camp fire and devotion time with s’mores—a camp necessity! Sunday wraps up with a time of song, prayer, and devotion.
Flexible Ways to Serve & Support Camp
Come Saturday just for the day, for just Friday or Saturday night, or for the whole weekend (Friday evening through Sunday morning). Can’t make it that weekend but still love to serve camp? Let us know at volunteer@lutherhaven.com! Shoshone Mountain Retreat can always use your help.
