Volunteer: Building Better FathersWe are currently looking for a positive male mentor in or near Post Falls, Idaho for a man in his late 30s who genuinely wants to grow and become a better father and partner. This individual grew up without healthy role models and is working hard to break unhealthy patterns from his past. He has been engaged in counseling for several years and is very open to learning from someone who can model patience, respect, and healthy family leadership. He is a hands-on, hardworking person who enjoys: • Working on cars • Computers and electronics • Building and fixing things He works as a welder and also drives for Uber on the side. He would connect especially well with a mentor who enjoys practical projects, mechanical work, or problem-solving together. A mentor with parenting experience would be especially helpful. Experience with autistic children would be a plus, though it is not required. What he needs most is a man who can: • Talk through life and parenting challenges • Model healthy communication • Offer encouragement and perspective • Spend occasional time together doing hands-on activities Mentorship through Hand in Hand Family Mentorship is supported and guided—we walk alongside our mentors and provide resources along the way.
