Who We Are
We are a nationally accredited nonprofit conservation organization that cares for the lands and people of the Kaniksu Region, today, tomorrow, and forever. Since 2002, KLT has conserved over 6,000 acres of forests, farms, and waterways across north Idaho and northwest Montana. Our nature-immersive education program fosters a love of nature in more than 2,000 children per year. We partner with nearly 50 organizations, agencies, tribes, and businesses to find conservation solutions to community challenges.
