Who We Are

WHO WE ARE: The IDHW Navigation program identifies and develops resources and supportive services to help individuals and families meet their basic needs through the creation of viable customized service plans. By focusing on family strengths, areas of need, and community connections, Navigation magnifies the safety, health, and well-being of program participants.

What We Do

WHAT WE DO: The Navigation program develops objectives and action steps to assist individuals and families with their goals for stability, self-sufficiency, health, safety, and overall well-being. We do this by providing short-term case management to include financial budgeting and goal-setting.

Additionally, IDHW Navigators collaborate with churches, communities, Tribes, agencies, and other internal/external  State and Federal departments to provide financial resources for needy families so that children may be cared for in their own homes or in the homes of relatives. This may include rental or utility assistance, vehicle repairs, employment-related fees or needs, support for kinship caretakers, and many other supportive services.
