BBBS was incorporated in the state of Washington in 1965, and has delivered formal, one-to-one mentoring services to more than ten thousand kids living in Eastern Washington since our inception. Program delivery currently includes 3 pathways. Community Based with Big (Mentor) and a Little (Youth) who meet on average twice monthly for 2-4 hours over a committed timeframe of 18 months minimum. MPower is a program for high school students which supports their post high school attainment through mentorship. Lunch Buddies is a site-based program for elementary students where the Mentor meets twice monthly with the student at school over lunch. This program is wonderful for busy working professionals looking to make a difference in the life of a local child.
