Specialized Needs Recreation

Specialized Needs Recreation—SNR—is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of children and adults with disabilities through recreation, social connection, and personal growth. For more than 40 years, we have created year-round opportunities for participants to build friendships, develop confidence, strengthen life skills, and experience the joy of being included. Last year alone, SNR welcomed nearly 6,000 participant visits through our daily adult programs, youth camps, sports, evening activities, and community outings. We are more than a recreation program—we are a community where every person is seen, valued, and welcomed. Everything we do reminds our participants: You are enough. You are strong. You matter. And you belong.

SNR provides year-round recreation and social programs for children and adults with disabilities. Through daily adult programs, youth camps, sports, evening activities, community outings, and transportation, participants build friendships, develop life skills, gain confidence, and experience greater independence. Our programs provide more than meaningful activities—they create connection, joy, and a community where everyone belongs.
