About Kootenai Health
Volunteers at Kootenai Health make an important difference for our patients and staff members. They provide extra special touches like a friendly smile, help patients finding their way, and extra hands to make sure all the work is done. They also form lasting friendships with one another, staff members and patients. Many of our adult volunteers find fulfilment as they put their lifetime of skills and experience to work in a new way.
To make sure you have the best experience possible, here are a few things to know about volunteering at Kootenai Health:
- Volunteers are important representatives of Kootenai Health. We are looking for people who share our commitment to providing kind, compassionate care to everyone.
- Most of our volunteer needs are Monday through Friday during normal work hours.
- To create consistency for our patients and staff, we ask volunteers to commit to serving for a minimum of six-months with 100 hours of service during that time. Most volunteers are here four hours per week, but we can always be flexible to accommodate your life!
