Agency and Services
At Newby-ginnings, we accept all types of donations from our community—much
like a thrift store, but with one big difference: everything is completely free
for our enrolled Veterans, Active Service Members, and Gold Star Families.
Project Description
Due to the incredible outpouring of support, we often receive a large volume of
donations. These donated items are temporarily placed in a designated
"stall"—a space that volunteers fondly refer to as "The
Mountain" because of its towering size! Every donation matters, and our
dedicated volunteers work tirelessly to ensure that every single item is clean,
functional and home-ready. Once inspected and approved, donations are carefully
sorted, organized, and stocked on our shelves for our clients to take as
needed.
Lunch will be provided to volunteers by Day of Caring's 2025 lunch sponsor, Pita Pit.
